Author: BotHarness

Question 1

Which DeepSeek Bot is this? Is it the same as DS Bot?

Accepted Answer

This is Tobs by BotHarness, formerly DeepSeekBot (DSB): npm package deepseekbot, website tobs.app, MIT licensed. DS Bot installs as ds-bot, is Apache-2.0 licensed and lives at Fei2411/DeepSeek-Bot; it is a separate project. Both run on DeepSeek Harness, and neither is an official DeepSeek product.

Question 2

How do Tobs and DS Bot differ in focus?

Accepted Answer

Tobs makes each Bot a long-lived colleague that works beyond the DSH window: Git memory you can review, the Bot's own Lark / Slack / Discord / WeChat identity, schedules, delegated Assignments and a Bot Marketplace. DS Bot turns DSH itself into a bot chat app: a main Bot, Chief, builds your team, a group admin answers first, and a Usage page shows tokens by Bot and model.
